Meet Vivien Suttner
Clinical Psychologist with Masters in Educational Psychology, MAPS.
Vivien Suttner is trained in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and takes an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic models to meet the unique needs of each client. She aims to create a therapeutic space where people feel safe, understood and able to explore difficult experiences at their own pace.
At the heart of Vivien’s work is a focus on authenticity, empowerment and honesty. She supports clients to develop greater psychological flexibility so they can respond more effectively to life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
Vivien has undertaken specialised training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her integrative approach allows therapy to be tailored to each individual’s circumstances, goals and strengths.
Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed framework that emphasises compassion, collaboration and a strengths-based perspective.
Vivien works with children, adolescents and adults, and has experience facilitating therapeutic groups and delivering professional training programs.
She also has considerable expertise in psychological assessment for both adults and children. Areas of particular interest include the assessment of specific learning disorders (such as dyslexia), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), neurodiversity and cognitive ability (IQ).
Vivien is the principal psychologist of 360 Psychology. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is a board-approved supervisor for provisional psychologists. Vivien has over 25 years’ experience as a psychologist and previously worked as a crisis counsellor.
